| In 1989, Siegrid Ingrid began its career in São Paulo. The band was named after two whores know by them: Siegrid and Ingrid.
After two years, the band released its first demo "Prophecy", which created new opportunities, such as the release of the 7" EP "The Choice" in 1992 by the label Rotheness Records. It was distributed in Brazil and some parts of the US, Europe and Japan. Their work was praised by the specialized media, such as magazines and radio shows, and they were considered one of the best underground bands of São Paulo. The video for the song Endless Life was showed in the MTV show Fúria Metal.
In 1996, their debut CD "Pissed Off" was released, achieving not only very good reviews by the press, but also enthusiastic approval of their audience. The band proved its maturity and professionalism in such songs as Forces, Beliefs, When You Die and the famous hymn of the band, Enéas.
Siegrid Ingrid is still setting new horizons with the evolution of its heavy and aggressive music, the main characteristics of the 10 tracks of its newest release, "The Corpse Falls". Recorded in São Paulo in June and July, 1999, and produced by Heros Trench, "The Corpse Falls" is a Cogumelo Records release, distributed in Brazil by Distribuidora Eldorado.
