Cogumelo Records has just released Siecrist’s new album, “What’s Going On Your Mind?”. The new effort can easily place Siecrist among the most important Brazilian thrash metal bands.

They have been around for ten years, traveling around the country and abroad to play live shows. The new work’s highlight is called “Alone”. The Brazilian MTV is already broadcasting its videotape. The band’s artistic maturity can be heard in each of the fifteen songs of the album, where the band shows its fast, aggressive, dirty, original and unfashionable thrash metal.

AThere are two other songs that will easily call the attention of radios to Siecrist. “Back to the Past” blends the sound of acoustic bass with heavy, slow guitars, and a clear, noticeable vocal line. “Homem Suicida” (Suicide Man), sung in Portuguese, has the guest appearance of various important musicians from Espírito Santo, their home state, from such bands as Dead Fish, Manimal, Pé no Lixo and Herança Negra.
