Sepultura is considered the most important Brazilian heavy metal band, and has established a very succesful international career. The band has toured all over the world.
The band started out in 1984, in the city of Belo Horizonte, Brazil. In 1985, they recorded their first work, Bestial Devastation, released in a split album (with the band Overdose) by the label Cogumelo Records. In 1986, Sepultura recorded its first LP, Morbid Visions. Both albums were released afterwards in a single CD. The remastered version of this CD includes the following bonus tracks: Necromancer (demo version) and Anticop (live). The booklet includes all lyrics and unreleased photos.
In 1987, the band recorded the album Schizophrenia, which would be responsible for their worldwide success and recognition. It is considered a true thrash-metal classic all over the world. Soon they signed with Roadrunner, and what happened afterwards is already part of history. It was remastered and released with three bonus tracks: The Past Reborns the Storms (demo version), Septic Schizo (rough mix) and To the Wall (rough mix).
