The most polemic, brutal and underground music style is Black Metal. Its extreme music and its polemic lyrics have gathered a fanatic and radical group of fans all over the world. The band Hellhammer was the pioneer of this music style and became a reference for all the bands that followed it. It became famous in the 1980=s with the name of Celtic Frost.

Akerbeltz is deep-rooted in this radical ground. It was formed in 1997 in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. It first recorded two demos: ADominus Infernus Vobiscum@ and ASongs with the Devil@. Both had tremendous acceptance all around the world.

They have already toured throughout Brazil, which helped to establish their success. They signed with the label Cogumelo Records and released its first CD, ATherion Rising@, distributed by Eldorado in the country. The album=s main features are the perfect keyboard combinations, the stabbing guitar chords, and the dark themes. The album has had a great acceptance by the public: Akerbeltz is the new revelation of the Brazilian Black Metal.
